Do I really need a Website?

With an ever growing amount of website design companies and media companies it is getting harder and harder for the small business looking for an online presence to know where to turn, what with many different options and companies telling you that you must get on the social media train or company will crash and burn within months as its the best thing since sliced bread, well here is my tuppence worth and to many it wont even be worth that lol. For the small business looking to dip your toe into the online world ask yourself some very easy to answer basic questions. Q - Do I really need a Website ? A - Not every Business will needs a Website. The very busy owner of a Building Company - he's completely booked up for the next three months - informs me he's not considering taking on employees and growing into a multi-person organisation. He just wants enough work to earn a nice easy living, and he has plenty of regular work. His business grows by word-of-mouth. Clients don't need to discover his office; he works at their homes. If ever there was a business that did not need a Web page, this was it. Maybe "no" . . . I've heard many small-business owners say they think they "should" get a Website. They're not quite sure what they will do with it, but they've been told they should have one. In most cases, they're right. A Website can be an important promotion for almost every business online, but there are a few exclusions. If you have as many customers as your business can manage and you have no desire to get bigger (as with our Builder), then there's no point in promotion on the Web. Alternately, if you are really certain that customers won't use the Internet to discover your goods and services, then you can safely neglect the Website. One example might be a local shop, where drive-by and local trade literally pushes all client traffic. For most companies, that supposition is getting difficult to create, at least in the UK, where over 8 million individuals have this model. Usually, a big "yes" There's no question that a Website is more mission-critical for some companies than others. Companies trying to arrive at customers in different locations (think Holiday Home or National Company) or who have items that can be shipped to customers far away (think flowers, hand crafted baby dolls, phones, etc.) obviously need to have an online business. But businesses (Carpet cleaners or Locksmiths, for example) also can benefit from a Web page that shows their location, lists their services or provides special promotions. And woe to those who think they don't need a powerful Website because they offer services to other companies rather than retail shop consumers. Many companies search for new providers online, then purchase from them that way, too. In short, if you want more customers, you should be online, regardless of your industry. Your online promotion tool For most Small business owners, a Web page is rapidly becoming a basic requirement of a promotion plan. A site can help you arrive at one or more of the following goals: ? Help customers discover you in the on-line community - your workplace, your store, your contact line. ? Help convince customers that you have the right goods and services for them ? Help sell items online, even across different trading markets, to retail store customers or other companies. A clean and visible site helps customers discover you The simplest possible Web existence is a one-page site that informs individuals how to discover your organization in the "real" community. It should include: ? A excellent Web Deal with that concerns your organization name and organization. ? Your Business address, complete with guidelines and a excellent map. ? Your Business contact information, along with email addresses and contact forms if relevant. ? Your buisness hours. ? Clear and attractive information of what your Business provides to customers. This Easy Website Design is most appropriate for companies that offer regional customers (a dry cleaner, physician's workplace or plumber, for example) and that aren't definitely looking to grow their client base (as with a completely reserved dental practice). For better promotion, create an extensive site If you're considering active promotion for you, you can increase your Web page to create it a more solid internet marketing.
