Self Motivation And Success Works Together

How do you know if a person is willing to attain self improvement? This is a question with no definite answer. It will all depend on the individual.

Many people have goals, dreams or ambitions but do not know how to go about achieving them. They may have thought about what would make up self improvement and their ideal life, but have no idea how to even begin to make the plans and take the actions required to make them a reality.

Self Motivation With Your Other-Than-Conscious Mind

"It is as if evolution has built a safety device in our nervous system that allows us to experience full happiness only when we are living at 100% - when we are fully using the physical and mental equipment we have been given." ~Mihaly Csikszentmihalyi

Physically, mentally, spiritually, financially, persuasively. . . are you functioning at 100% of your capacity? We're born to learn, thrive, live and search for happiness, meaning and fulfillment, and yet many find these things to be out of reach. Why is it that some people struggle with their finances, their love relationships, their weight, and a general lack of motivation, while others seem to live up to their full potential with ease?

We're living in accelerated times with technology advancing faster than we can keep up with it. As a result of all the external stimulation, I believe we have a disconnect with our other-than-conscious selves. Once we repair that disconnection, amazing, miraculous things can happen.

If we consider our subconscious mind a friend, and communicate with it directly, succinctly and, in a way, strictly, we can move mountains.

The gentle giant is a power capable of being harnessed to aid us in our pursuit of fulfillment. They've been with us since the minute we were born and since then, they've been learning by observing what it is we hear and do.

Everything that goes on around us is being filtered into this other-than-conscious.

As children we were conditioned whether that be through rewards, punishments, through school and experiences. Our other-than-conscious learned too--it learned to expect certain ways of being, creating metaphorical maps of what we could expect out of life based on this early conditioning.

Of its many roles, the subconscious is a powerful persuader--self-persuader--and when you understand this, you are naturally able to engage its help.

The main function of the other-than-conscious is to keep us alive. Another is to keep us doing exactly what we've always been doing. This is, at times, problematic, especially when you're trying to make big changes in your life.

It's possible that your other-than-conscious has been sabotaged by negative conditioning. It runs on a 'I can't do that' program. This part of the brain is responsible for turning something into a habit by helping you know something on 'auto pilot' instead of having to 'remember' it. This works both positively and negatively for us.

As we reframe the power of our other-than-conscious as a partner instead of something we hardly ever consider or communicate with, it can really make an enormous difference in our lives.

So the big question is: how do we befriend this gentle giant? Well. . . how do you make any other friend? You gain rapport with them. It's that easy.

I thought this was silly at first too. I thought, 'Why do I have to make friends with a part of myself?' Take that leap of faith and you're going to find a huge difference in your life.

And this is how to do it: Give yourself a little pep talk. Ask for what you need help with. 'Dear Gentle Giant. . . I'd love to double our income. I think we're absolutely worth it.' Or maybe, 'Hi. I know we've had some rocky relationships and there has been a bad pattern created and now, I'd like to end that and have a great connection. What do you think? Let's do it together.'

You could also ask for help with things you're learning, as in, 'Gentle giant, I would absolutely love to have my persuasion skills increase exponentially. You are really the one I can count on for help.'

Everything that you are, everything that you do, and everything that you have began with your intention to have it in one way or another is controlled by your other-than-conscious mind. All you have to do is tap into your persuasive power and your persuasion skills will naturally develop.

How Your Mind Can Do More With Minimal To No Self Motivation

What you do bridges the gap between your network marketing business goals and your results. Your drive determines the actions you take.

For certain people, their motive is determined by the reason they started a business. The stronger the WHY, the easier it is to take the necessary action for your home business success. Your WHY gives you that extra edge, so you never give up on your business and you always execute the related tasks at an optimal level.

For a few people, this is straightforwardly possible because they are skilled at formulating very strong motivational reasons for being in business. These individuals easily let this inspiration drive them, and they always perform their network marketing tasks at a peak level.

For other people though, maintaining that optimal performance when undertaking their network marketing business everyday duties proves to be quite a formidable task. One day, you could be psyched to do your very best and the next day, you're a totally different person; eager to put off the task till a later date.

So what do these individuals do to narrow the distance between their network marketing business goals and their outcomes?

Let's look at pro athletes for example. They generally have to suffer very long, gruelling seasons of training, hard work and substantially competitive fixtures in their respective disciplines.

They have to compete at a peak level, whether it's working out, or game time, and they have to repeat this feat for the entire length of the season and even beyond. Anything below this and they shrink their perceived value to their team and to other prospective teams.

Are these pro athletes always driven ALL the time? Surely they are human, and they must have some days when they just don't feel like it.

Let's face it, no matter how much you love doing something, there are some aspects of it you would rather not do at all.

With sports, you sometimes have to spend time in the gym, the pool, on the track or in the weight room. Then there's time for Public Relations work, and taking care of the business side of things. Don't forget that there are still the competitive sporting events themselves, where you have to be in ‘The Zone'.

I don't know about you, but to do this consistently takes a lot more than mere motivation.

After all, motivation is based on your confidence in your capability to do something. If you are deficient in that confidence, you will not have the needed motivation.

When it comes to your mlm business, you have to deal with prospects, promotion and marketing (which include a large number of strategies), telephone sales and recruiting, copywriting, and so many other aspects of your home based business.

Keeping on top of the tasks required of you in your business, consistently requires that you be in total control of your mind and you be ready to do anything and everything, no matter how big or small the task, or how much you feel like doing it or not.

That being said, how do you perform your home based business tasks at your peak, always?

When pro athletes speak of being in ‘The Zone', they are competing at their highest level. At this level, all parts of them are in total cooperation, working towards a common goal. By this statement, I am saying a person is composed of more than just his/her consciously controlled mind and muscles.

When you acknowledge that you are composed of more than just your conscious mind, but also have spiritual, mental, psychological and subconscious aspects to you, that's when you can see that you are a sum total of more than just your conscious mind, with all parts working in cooperation, towards a common goal.

In such a case, you would not need to do some chanting or auto-suggestion exercises and put on a ‘game face', to keep you motivated to accomplish the task at hand. You just have to gain the cooperation of all parts of you, including your subconscious mind.

When you can visualize yourself as a being composed of many parts, you will see that it's not necessary to keep you driven so you perform your network marketing business tasks at a peak level. You just need the cooperation of all parts of you.

Clinical psychologists put it clearly, when they describe hypnosis as a language you use to communicate with, and gain the cooperation of your subconscious mind.

If you've ever looked into clinical psychology, then you know that it's possible to eliminate acrophobia (fear of heights) from a person who has suffered this ailment for a very long time. This cure is never based on getting someone hyped, psyched or motivated. It is based on gaining the cooperation of the person's subconscious mind.

When you can obtain the cooperation of your subconscious mind, you can achieve anything and getting into ‘The Zone' that athletes speak about (with reference in this case, to your home based business) becomes second nature.

You no longer have to rely on auto suggestion, or chanting to yourself and telling yourself you can do it each and every day. You just have to rely on your subconscious mind; working in cooperation with you, toward a common goal.

Have you ever noticed how many big-name pro athletes use hypnosis as part of their regiment? That should give you something to think about.

However you get to communicate with your subconscious mind, gaining this cooperation is pertinent to your mlm business success and undertaking your home business duties at an optimal level.

The next time you're considering performing a chore for your network marketing business, and wondering where you're going to come up with the essential inspiration to start, remember that motivation is not a pre-requisite to get going; gain the cooperation of your subconscious mind, and you can be in ‘The Zone'.

Surefire Tips for Self Motivation

Learning how to motivate yourself is crucial to your success, both in your life and business. Many of us find it easier to give advice or even motivation to other people. But when it comes to motivating self, we just don't do it.

Why motivation is so important and why do you need it?

Well, without motivation we can't move forward. Everyone including the hot shot personal development gurus will experience a slowdown in their lives. But they know how to ignite themselves up again and recharge. You see, motivation is like the fuel that powers a car, without it the car will not move. Same as human, we need motivation to propel us forward and do what we are supposed to do each day to reach out goals and dreams.

Now that we know how importance is motivation, the question is how do you motivate yourself? Here are some tips to help you to pump up your motivation...

One of the main reaon why people have low motivation is that they don't have goals or aim in life. If your life is goalless, you are just doing what you think you are supposed to do when the next thing comes to your mind. You won't have the focus and energy to do what you are supposed to do. And you will feel bored very quickly.

On the other hand, if you have a clear aim in life, you will wake up in the morning with high aspiration and motivation. You know exactly what you want to do each day and you do it with high passion because you have goals and dreams to reach. So you are working to move yourself closer to your dreams each day.

Therefore, the first thing you need to do in order to be able to motivate yourself is to have a concrete goal or aim in life.

The next tips I want to share with you in order to be able to motivate self is to let go of your past mistakes. You see, everyone makes mistakes and in fact it is okay to make mistakes as long as you don't repeat the same mistakes over and over again. If you make mistake, learn from it and leave it behind. Don't dwell on your problem because doing so will stop you from moving forward. It kills your motivation.

Once you have let go of your past, you begin to accept your mistakes and move on. You will be able to use your past mistakes to your advantage and find ways to do things better so that you don't repeat the same mistake. Once you let go... you will be able to discover new method of doing thing more efficiently.

Another tip I want to share with you is... Stay Away From Negative People!

Negative people don't have positive motivation. The are wasting their energy on the negative things. If you want to have a positive motivation, stay away from the negative people and make friend with positive people instead. Friends who have positive attitude can help to motivate you. They can give you some great advice when you are facing difficulty. They can also help to charge up your motivation.

Last but not least, never compare yourself with others. Everyone will go through life diffrently. You may be in the different stages with other people so don't compare yourself with them. Just focus on your own goals and dreams; focus your energy and motivation to help you reach your own goals. You can give advice and help motivate others but you can't help them to get the goals for them.

To recap...

Motivation is crucial to our success. We must learn how to motivate ourselves so that we are moving forward each day. Focus your energy to achieve your goals and dreams and stay away from the negative people because they can drag you down and destroy your dreams. Don't let them do that to you. Get together with the positive people because they can help fuel your motivation. Read the rest of this entry »
